understanding lcap and how you can get involved

Our Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) is more than just a document, it is a roadmap for how Maxwell Unified School District supports student success, invests resources, and sets priorities for the future. Each year, we update the LCAP to reflect our goals in areas like academic achievement, student engagement, school climate, and support services.
A key part of building this plan is hearing directly from our families and community. Your experiences, ideas, and perspectives help us understand what is working well and where we can grow. When you share your input, you are helping shape decisions about programs, funding, and supports that impact every student in our district.
We are committed to a process that is open, inclusive, and responsive. Whether you participate in a survey, attend a meeting, or simply share your thoughts, your voice plays an important role in guiding our work.
We invite and encourage all parents, guardians, and community members to take part in this process. Together, we can create a plan that reflects our shared values and supports the success of every Maxwell student.
